The Musical Theater Program offers the opportunity to study with internationally renowned teachers, coaches, and conductors; sing in master classes; attend lectures; acting, movement, study vocal technique, and perform in an original showcase with scenes from the best on the musical theater repertoire. The program provides opportunities for singers to receive training and connections to some of the world’s most prestigious universities and conservatories. Musical Theater Program singers vary in age and experience but typically are still in their early stages of education and training. This year’s Emerging Artist Season is directed by acclaimed mezzo-sopranos Michele Detwiler and Devony Smith, and provides opportunities for singers to receive training and connections to some of the world’s most prestigious universities and conservatories.

A NIGHT OF OPERA AND MUSICAL THEATER
A concert of opera and musical theater scenes and arias in historic Boise, including world premieres of opera scenes and art songs from the Composers In Residence Studio

PERFORMATIVA - VIRTUAL & LIVE INDUSTRY PANEL
A Festival intensive in Arte Scenica (language of the body) e Canto (singing) for Audition preparation with Internationally recognized artists Yuri Napoli, Director of Performing Artists at the Zeffirelli Foundation in Italy; and Andrea DelGiudice ”The Voice whisperer,” Internationally renowned soprano and New York City vocal master teacher.

TUITION

$3,500 – Hotel double room

Limited need-based scholarships are available through application.
